从我观影过程里不断在cue《中国女留学生在加拿大失踪》就能意识到它本质上是coming of age的故事而非单纯的爱情电影和童年作别和故乡作别然后通过网络重遇再学会放下本身其实是一个比电影看起来痛苦的多的过程优点就是导演的克制和轻巧让故事的本身打动人而非所谓的“煽情处理”此外移民元素并不觉得刻意或喧宾夺主反而是从另一个不常见但一直被忽视的视角来解构“移民”导演几乎剔除了所有传统的“成功学”移民叙事元素(只保留了诺贝尔普利策和托尼)朱竹清玉腿上下完全通过女主的成长故事来重构移民本身算是一大亮点遗憾是除了很多不能免于俗套的情节设计之外导演的调度也缺少个人风格丢失了一些影像魅力最后就是故事容量较小层次比较扁平外延过于狭窄可解读性和反复观赏的价值不高(普通人大银幕当电影连放我会爆星)
